
An artist for forty years, Napanee, Ontario native Sherry expresses her love of travel and life through colour and texture. Paintings are rendered in acrylic, collage and mixed media. Subjects range from military, nautical, floral, landscapes, seascapes and abstracts. She has been fortunate to study under such prominent artists as Zoltan Szabo, Brian Atyeo, Jill Segal, Claudia McCabe and Donna Cameron.
Constantly studying, teaching and displaying her art, has led Sherry to become well known in the art scene of Eastern Ontario. She has been featured in many exhibitions throughout Southern Ontario including an exhibit with the Canadian Society of Marine Artists and at “Art 2009”, an international Art Show in Toronto. Her work hangs in museums in Ontario and France and privately across Canada, the U.S., Australia and France. In 2006 Sherry found herself teaching school children high in the Andes of Peru.
Sherry is past president of Gallery One-Twenty-One in Belleville, On. Sidestreet Gallery in Wellington Ontario carries her art.
